UEC Community Service Award

The Annual Users' Executive Committee (UEC) Community Service Award acknowledges an individual from the NSLS-II user community in recognition of his/her service, innovation, and/or dedication to NSLS-II users.

This is not an award for scientific achievement, but rather for contributions that have improved the quality of science at the NSLS-II. Any member of the NSLS-II user community with an active appointment is eligible for receipt of this award, excluding current UEC/SPIG members.

Starting this year, there are two categories of consideration for the CSA: Scientific Support and Beamline Science. Please note that current members of the NSLS-II Users' Executive Committee or candidates running for UEC membership are not eligible to be nominated.

In addition to the award, the award winner’s name is engraved on the UEC Award plaque which is displayed at NSLS-II.

The award winner will be chosen by the UEC. In order to participate in the nomination process, you must be a NSLS-II user with an active appointment. To submit a nomination, please complete the form below.
